Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the mobile applications provided by Anchor Point Apps LLC (“Anchor Point Apps,” “we,” or “us”), including the ICS 213 General Message app (the “App”), and our website at anchorpointapps.com (the “Site”). By using the App or Site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App and Site

You may use the App and Site for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to misuse them, interfere with their operation, or attempt to reverse engineer the App except as permitted by law. If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, your use is also subject to that store’s terms.

2. The App is a tool

The App helps you prepare and share messages and resource requests. You are solely responsible for the content you create and send, for verifying that every request is accurate and complete, and for following your agency’s procedures, ordering channels, and chain of command.

3. Not an official form or system

The App is not an official government form, product, or ordering system. Anchor Point Apps is not affiliated with or endorsed by NWCG, USFS, DOI, FEMA, or any other government agency. Use of the App does not replace official dispatch or ordering processes.

4. No warranty

The App and Site are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any data (including NFES numbers or reference information) is current or correct.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anchor Point Apps LLC and its members, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, delayed or incorrect orders, or other losses arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App or Site. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the App, if any.

6. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Arizona.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App or Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
